Summer Internship Programme 2025

If you are an undergraduate or recent graduate in law, social policy or a related discipline who would like to gain some valuable experience volunteering for us for four weeks or more over the summer vacation, we would love to hear from you!

“I was an intern with the Uttlesford Citizens Advice for the summer of 2024. It was hands-down the best internship I could have done- I was surrounded by a supportive, friendly, positive and extremely engaging team, who each individually took the time and effort to answer evert question I had and guide me through the training. Caroline, the trainer, was absolutely brilliant! I learnt so much about housing, debt management, social benefits (and this just scratches the surface) in such a short time, and I was encouraged to take on a range of responsibilities (though never felt unsupported or like too much was being asked of me). My perspective on community and social issues has completely changed thanks to seeing the amazing work Citizens Advice does. It was an outstanding internship experience, and I couldn’t recommend it more.”
