The following schemes may be of interest if you are in receipt of Free School Meals or identify as vulnerable or at risk of food poverty.
Holiday Activity and Food programme providing FREE face to face clubs for young people who are eligible for benefits based free school meals, as well as young people from working families who would benefit from this extra support. Clubs will include fun activities, such as sports or arts & crafts. These Summer clubs are funded by Essex County Council and D A free nutritious meal will be provided for all children eligible for benefits based free school meals, to continue this support outside of term time. Working families will have the option of paying for a meal or providing a packed lunch.
